FAQ's
How long does it take?
Our team of artists work as fast as they can as they spend hours perfecting each face. We aim to have your digitally hand-drawn artwork preview to you within 3-5 business days. Then, if you've ordered an artwork file, it will be sent via email once you've approved it. If you've ordered a canvas it will be sent to print and post which can take up to 10 business days.
What currency does I am Cartoonified sell in?
Our store is set in AUD. You can change the currency at the bottom of the page.
How are the drawings done?
All artworks are drawn digitally by hand using several programs. We study your photos and recreate you as a cartoon! We trace the faces and bodies for the perfect outline.
How is the portrait sent?
We have the option of either a digital file (emailed), or to print your artwork on canvas and shipped to your door.
What if I am not happy with my portrait?
Our artists spend time perfecting your artworks with the use of the photos you provide. If the photo is great quality, this makes our job much easier! We do send all artworks to you for approval before emailing or printing the final product, so if you want any tweaks made we can do so to ensure you're 100% in love with your artwork before it is finalised.
What can I have as my background?
Whatever you want! Either select the standard background that comes with the theme you choose OR select a "Custom Background" and describe or upload a photo of the background you want, whether it's a photo or an image, we will turn it cartoon and use it in your artwork.
Do pets/cars count as a person?
They do. You'll upload a photo of your pet/car and we'll spend just as much time drawing the cartoon exactly like your provided photo, just as we do with people.
What is the digital file and is their restrictions?
Unlike some we put no restrictions on your digital file, it’s yours to do whatever you want with. If you order a digital file (email) you will receive it in high resolution in PDF and JPEG format to print up to 51cm x 76cm.
Can you work from more than one photo?
Your face will be drawn from just one photo, BUT if you want your face drawn like one photo and your hair like another photo, just upload both and specify in the notes.
Can you merge photos together into a group photo?
Of course. You don't need to be all together in one photo. Upload each person/pet separately on the upload section. Our black and white drawings are perfect for memorial drawings also - these do take a little longer as they are realistic.
What quality should the photo I send to you be?
The better quality the photo the easier it will be for our artists to get a more accurate illustration of you on the other side. But don’t worry, we’ll let you know if we’re having any issues and need better quality photos.
Does my purchased art get used on your socials?
Yes, it can be. If you purchase a cartoon and do not want it to be used for social content including and not limited to Facebook, Instagram, digital and printed marketing please let us know after making your purchase via email info@iamcartoonified.com
I have a large group I need doing?
No problem just fill out the contact form here and we will be in contact with you.
I don't want any theme, I just want a custom cartoon artwork?
Cool, we have the option for a custom cartoon here. You can just upload a photo you want cartoonified or if you have your own ideas, upload photos and write in the notes. Alternatively contact us here and we can make it happen together.
Will I be charged for changes to my order after it's been made?
We ask that you give us all requests and details when you place your order, any major requests/redraws that are made after the artwork has been drawn may incur further charges.
